My mom works for the Hale Centre Theatre in the Box Office. They perform amazing musicals and plays throughout the year. You should check them out! Once a year, the Hale Centre Theatre has an Appreciation Evening for all of their employees. They are able to bring a guest. Fortunately for me, my dad was out of town in Boise, Idaho so I got to be my mom's guest. It was a wonderful evening. Everyone gets to dress up in formal attire (if they want). It was so much fun to get all dressed up and see everyone in formal wear. I love to dress up and rarely have an opportunity to do it. It was like prom, only better! Here are some pictures from the evening.

The evening consisted of a delicious turkey dinner. After dinner, we all met in the theatre. Awards were given out and certain people were recognized for their contributions to the theatre. Then they did a scene from each of the performances that took place throughout the year. Then there was birthday cake and dancing. Michael and I went around to the three different tables (and six different cakes) to try each one. Our favorite was a simple white cake with lemon and raspberry filling! Delicious!
