Merlin Olsen: Truly A Gentle Giant

The organizers of the 2002 Olympic Torch Relay definitely had a sense of humor as they placed the order of the Torch Bearers. They decided to have the tallest Torch Bearer give the flame to the shortest Torch Bearer. That is how my life was touched by this great man that passed away last week. Merlin Olsen was the nicest guy. He was very humble and grateful for the opportunity to carry the Olympic Torch. Click here to learn more about Merlin Olsen.
